Teen Attacked By Mountain Lion

Got a call Sunday morning from Kendra's parents to catch this lion, just up the road from my house. Wrong time of year, can't use hounds until mid November.


Mary answered the phone and they couldn't believe I wouldn't drop everything I was doing to go look for this lion. I was elk hunting.
People just don't understand, lions are predators and when you live amongst them you can become the prey.

This is just a couple miles up the road from us.

Also had a 400-450 pound bear flip our dumpster over that night. I chased it around and tried to get a photo but couldn't get the flash to work on Mary's camera. Was kinda funny, he went around the barn one way and I the other, then we played hide and seek between the well house and the truck, he finally ran off. A little too big to thump with a stick.
