What happened? He didnt give an executive order to ban assualt weapons like everone and the media was saying would happen? He proposed a assualt weapons ban but he is going to let it go before Congress. Tuesday night he said Congress wouldnt pass it but he wasnt going to pursuit it. Now we will get to see if the Repulican Congress has a spine like a jelly fish or a human. We all got see how the Republicans in New York rolled over like a $3 dollar hooker from the French Quarter in New Orleans, lets hope it dont happen with these Republicans. The ball is now in there court.

I think the reason he decided against bypassing congress, was due to groups like the NRA pulling out all the stops, and letting him and congress know that they would pay a heavy price for such actions. The Democratic Party should be tried for treason , and the Republican Party is guilty of aiding and abetting. Biggest bunch of self-serving hypocrites on the planet!

Papa, would you tell us what party brought back the wolf, closed the forest roads, closed hound hunting on the west coast, currently pushing gun control?
People had it with liberals pushing their way. The King can go to hell along with the rest of the liberals. The NRA is not perfect however NOW is the time to support them.

Citizens File Articles of Impeachment Against Obama

For sedition against the Constitution

Alex Jones
Infowars.com
January 15, 2013

“When a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”

Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776.

There can no longer be any doubt – the forces of tyranny are running wild across our once great Republic. The time has come for all good men and women to rally to the aid of their country. We have now entered a historic crossroads that will decide the destiny of the United States. Arrogance and corruption has long festered in Washington DC, but the last decade has seen an extreme acceleration of criminal looting and attacks on liberty – every freedom is under sustained assault.

We the People, the rightful masters of this Republic, will either rise up through Congress and the states or we can trade in our birthright of liberty for the chains of a technocratic slavery. Below we list some of the more egregious acts of seditious treason against the Republic of the United States. Anyone who wishes to continue to live in a free country and to pass that birthright on to their children must research this document and then lobby state legislatures and the Congress to do their duty and remove the would-be dictator.

The time has now come for a bill of impeachment to be introduced and debated in Congress. Obama’s crimes are public, and the debate in the House will serve as a court in which to display the tyrannical activities of President Obama and his cohorts. As in the case of Richard Nixon, the exposure of Obama’s crimes may cause him to resign in disgrace. If he does not step down, the full House will then vote to begin the impeachment trial in the US Senate. The time has now come to make your decision – to stand up to evil or get on your knees as a willing slave.

Articles of Impeachment Against Barack Hussein Obama – Filed by Citizen Alexander Emric Jones, January 15, 2013.

- He has clearly communicated his intent to eviscerate the second amendment rights of American citizens by pursuing executive orders to curtail the right to keep and bear arms without congressional authorization and in violation of the second amendment.

Below, Congressman Stockman has pledged to move for impeachment against Obama. I am standing up against Obama right beside him, will you?

“The President’s actions are an existential threat to this nation,” reads a statement by Rep. Steve Stockman. “The right of the people to keep and bear arms is what has kept this nation free and secure for over 200 years. The very purpose of the Second Amendment is to stop the government from disallowing people the means to defend themselves against tyranny. Any proposal to abuse executive power and infringe upon gun rights must be repelled with the stiffest legislative force possible.”

- He has aided America’s enemies, violating his oath, by sending funds to insurgents in Syria who are being commanded by Al-Qaeda terrorists.

- He has violated federal law by overseeing a cover-up surrounding Operation Fast and Furious, the transfer of guns to Mexican drug cartels direct from the federal government.

- He has lied to the American people by overseeing a cover-up of the Benghazi attack which directly led to the deaths of four American citizens. The cover-up has been called “Obama’s Watergate,” yet four months after the incident, no one in the administration has been held accountable.

- He has brazenly undermined the power of Congress by insisting his authority came from the United Nations Security Council prior to the attack on Libya and that Congressional approval was not necessary. “I don’t even have to get to the Constitutional question,” said Obama. This is an act that “constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution,” according to Congressman Walter Jones.

- He has flagrantly violated article 1, section 9, clause 8 of the Constitution by accepting rotating status as chairman of the United Nations Security Council. The clause states, “No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States; and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall without consent of Congress accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.”

- He has ignored Congressional rejection of the cybersecurity bill and instead indicated he will pursue an unconstitutional executive order.

- He has signed into law the National Defense Authorization Act which includes provisions that permit the abduction and military detention without trial of U.S. citizens, violating Habeas Corpus. Despite Obama claiming he would not use the provisions to incarcerate U.S. citizens, it was his administration that specifically demanded these powers be included in the final NDAA bill.

- He has enacted universal health care mandates that force Americans to buy health insurance, a clear violation of the Constitution in exceeding congressional power to regulate interstate commerce. Obama has also handed out preferential waivers to corporations friendly to his administration.

- He has declared war on America’s coal industry by promising to bankrupt any company that attempts to build a new coal plant while using unconstitutional EPA regulations to strangle competition, ensuring Americans see their energy costs rise year after year.

- He has violated the Constitution’s Takings and Due Process Clauses when he bullied the secured creditors of automaker Chrysler into accepting 30 cents on the dollar while politically connected labor unions and preferential others received better deals.

- He has violated Article II of the Constitution by using signing statements as part of his executive usurpation of power.

“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment.”

Rep. Steve Stockman, Texas.

For these, and other offenses which constitute high crimes and misdemeanors, including perjury of oath, abuse of authority, bribery, intimidation, misuse of assets, failure to supervise, dereliction of duty, conduct unbecoming and refusal to obey a lawful order, we call for the immediate impeachment of Barack H. Obama.

He can not use a excutive order on a Constitutional issue. By the way after the election I would have thought you guys would have figured out that Fox News is not a reliable news source. I wonder why they pulled that story, click on it, it isnt there. BECAUSE IT IS B.S.!!!!!!

Obama listed 23 executive orders which have nothing to do with banning guns, they are for stricter background checks and gaurds in schools and such, no gun bans!!! He did just enough to apease the public. Like I said before, this would not have even been a issue had in not been for the Sandy Hook shooting involving children, he had to do something, public outcry forced him to do something. He proposed a assualt weapons ban but even stated it would not pass Congress. He did just enough to win public support, nothing more!

Are these cvonsidered infringements to the 2nd ammendment?
Take a look at #16 & #17. How well do you trust anti gun doctors?
Those two are the real meat and potatoes...

1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.

2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

3. Improve incentives for states to share information with the background check system.

4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

5. Propose rulemaking to give law enforcement the ability to run a full background check on an individual before returning a seized gun.

6. Publish a letter from ATF to federally licensed gun dealers providing guidance on how to run background checks for private sellers.

7. Launch a national safe and responsible gun ownership campaign.

8. Review safety standards for gun locks and gun safes (Consumer Product Safety Commission).

9. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal law enforcement to trace guns recovered in criminal investigations.

10. Release a DOJ report analyzing information on lost and stolen guns and make it widely available to law enforcement.

11. Nominate an ATF director.

12. Provide law enforcement, first responders, and school officials with proper training for active shooter situations.

13. Maximize enforcement efforts to prevent gun violence and prosecute gun crime.

14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.

15. Direct the Attorney General to issue a report on the availability and most effective use of new gun safety technologies and challenge the private sector to develop innovative technologies.

16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.

17. Release a letter to health care providers clarifying that no federal law prohibits them from reporting threats of violence to law enforcement authorities.

18. Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers.

19. Develop model emergency response plans for schools, houses of worship and institutions of higher education.

20. Release a letter to state health officials clarifying the scope of mental health services that Medicaid plans must cover.

21. Finalize regulations clarifying essential health benefits and parity requirements within ACA exchanges.

22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.

23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.

Here is that article Ferjr, I dont know why you couldnt find it. It is still hard to understand how guys like you are the new majority in this country. Sad!!

Obama renews executive order threat on gun control laws
Published January 14, 2013
FoxNews.com
Washington – President Obama renewed his threat Monday to use executive orders to push through controversial gun control measures with or without Congress’ blessing.
The president made his comments during the final news conference of his first term.
Obama said he is reviewing a list of recommendations from Vice President Biden on how to reduce gun violence. Obama is expected to announce the next steps on gun violence after he is inaugurated and enters his second term next week.
Gun control has made its way to the top to the president’s agenda following the Newtown, Conn., shootings in December that left 20 elementary students dead.
The National Rifle Association and other gun-rights advocacy groups have pushed back hard on the issue and say laws limiting the types of guns or ammunition rounds will not curb violence in schools. Instead, they say, stronger mental health laws are needed.
Neither side is backing down on the issue. In the past, the NRA has successfully managed to limit more gun control and has prevented passage of another assault-weapons ban like the one that expired in 2004. But some lawmakers say last month's school shooting, by a gunman with a legally purchased high-powered rifle, has transformed the debate and that Americans are ready for stricter gun laws.
The NRA, with a history of punishing lawmakers who stray from its point of view, disagrees.
"When a president takes all the power of his office, if he's willing to expend political capital, you don't want to make predictions," NRA President David Keene said."You don't want to bet your house on the outcome. But I would say that the likelihood is that they are not going to be able to get an assault weapons ban through this Congress."
States and cities also have a say. In New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo and legislative leaders had a tentative deal to enact the nation's first gun control measure since the Connecticut shooting, according to people familiar with the negotiations. That would further tighten gun laws in a state that already has among the nation's strictest. The people spoke on condition of anonymity because the proposal had not been discussed among all legislators.
And New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg continued his vocal call for stricter gun control, urging Obama and Congress to increase background check requirements for firearms purchases and to get tougher on gun trafficking.
"These guns are not designed for sport or home defense," Bloomberg said. "They are designed to kill large numbers of people quickly."
Meanwhile, U.S. senators plan to introduce a bill that would ban assault weapons and limit the size of ammunition magazines. But Republican Sen. John McCain responded with a flat-out "no" when asked Sunday on CBS whether Congress would pass a ban.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.

I can't stand the guy and wish that we had gotten rid of him, I also consider myself a staunch republican. I have to agree with ferjr however that Fox News is not reliable at all and pushes as much propaganda as the far left media stations. As I really look into his executive order and in talking with friends of mine that are far smarter than I, there isn't really anything that we could even come close to impeaching him for.

What we are in for, is a heck of a fight in congress trying to maintain the rights we now have. It would be a mistake for us to devote any of our time to "impeach" obama and take our attention off of what is going to happen in congress.
