Have a 11 month old redbone she has been on 8 lions but won’t smell a lion scent drag any thoughts?

She's been on the real deal and knows it's just a drag.

I did some testing on this and I videoed everything ... I will try to put it together and post it ... let me just say I had similar results
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Lots of dogs won't run a drag.

I found this out at my first field trial this last weekend. There are hunting dogs and there are trial dogs. A good trial dog doesn’t mean they’re a good hunting dog and true the other way as well.

Sometimes you can train a hound that isn't interested in bottled scent on a domestic cat trail. Just make sure that you don't turn the hound loose while the cat is still in the tree, especially if it 's someone's pet, because that cat is going to stay up that tree longer than it's owner will be pleased with. Good way to start a feud with a neighbor or relative.
