Lion in the rocks - Video

Post by ChasinTail »

This is a short version of the video... the long version is about 17 minutes long, but it's also about 3GB worth of video, and youtube won't allow that much. So until I find somewhere to host that big of a file, here ya go. I'll apologize for Donnie, he was running the camera that day, it's a little shakey, but as I heard someone say on another post...lions in the bluffs can keep your heart racing... so the video is shakey, and mostly off centered... but I can't give him too much crap...I know how it is trying to keep the camera still and on center.... enjoy!

Siren (the one eyed dog) doesn't come into the video until the very end. She's the redtick on the left.
Cash is the redtick that gets in the lion's face. He's a pretty special dog, and having him on the ledge with that lion was pretty intense for a few minutes. I'm going to work on putting together part 2 of the video. There is still some pretty good footage of all the dogs on the ledge including Bailey, that isn't in this video...

Wow that is a great video... thanks
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Very cool ! But very nerve racking for someone who has seen good hounds fall to their deaths.
