new years day yote, 1st of 2011

we had some real tough running on new years day. i went over to the gavel pit by the railroad track and the swamp was all ice with about 1 1/2 of water on top. rooster & katie had a hard time in the water, but stuck with it. once they got on solid ground they could move the yote fast, but it kept coming back to the ice. after about 1 1/2 hrs i finally put it down. the pouring rain shut us down after that, as we could not get another one going.these pics were taken on the edge of the swamp as the yote was trying to get back in.
