montana lion hunting changes

I was just wondering if anyone else has heard of the changes that might be coming next year. I was talking to a guy that talked to the local game warden yesterday. The game warden told him that it was just going to be one season next year. the way I understand it is the deer and elk hunters can shoot all the lions in an area and close the areas down instead of just the 20%. I might be totally wrong just somthing I heard.

you got the wrong information......general season is alloted 20% of the objectives in region 1 and region 2. Region 1 stayed the same and REgion 2 went to all permit, no more quotas.
