SD Lion Season
The quota this year in the black hills of SD will be 70 lions or 50 females. Still no hound season, I hope they don't fill the quota.

Re: SD Lion Season
From what I have seen Boot Hunters shoot anything they can. They WILL NEED OUR HOUND HELP IT IS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME.
Be glad we have a Bobbie Season & CAN Hunt Coon YEAR ROUND.
I would love a Lion Season, I WOULDNT WORK THE LENGTH OF THE SEASON, I would be chasing Long Tails Everyday................................
That is a Dandy of a bred pup you are getting out of Southern Utah.

Yes sir, the boot hunters shoot the first damn lion they see. We are lucky that we can run bobs, and then yest-round coon hunting. That pup that I am getting is out of Pepper and Kim, what I have heard they are both damn good dogs.

Re: SD Lion Season
The only thing is trying to keep our hound guys as honest as we can so that when our opertunity arises to run Long Tails we are able to .
The worst thing is if we have some rebels thinking they can make there own laws, an then getting caught in the act. These people on the SD Commisioners meetings do not need to have any ammo against us , if we are going to have a chance at running them.
Yes the will need our help sooner than Later.
Thin cats cominginto the low lands due to less and less deer and old Toms with attitude are a perfect indicators that the worst has yet to come. When they finally get ahold of a kid or hiker or bike riders then they will be asking for our help.
