Can I put a waypoint on a saved hunt track so that I can go to a specific spot? If so, How? Obviously, I am Garmin illiterate.
Thanks in advance. Trying to find more evidence concerning a lost hound.

Re: Place a waypoint on an old track????????
Initially I posed this question trying to uncover some clues on a missing dog. But last Friday night while hog hunting with a friend we lost a pistol. We had the pistol at the last kill, but upon arrival at the truck, discovered that it was gone. We had walked close to a half a mile in thick brush to and from the boar. On Saturday we went back to try and find the gun.
Using the navigation arrow and map track (you could tell where the catch activity was) we were able to make our way straight to the kill area, but no pistol. We decided to track the map line the dogs had left following us out on Friday night. In about a hundred yards there lay the pistol. My ole Tracker Maxima sytem could not have done that!
I still hope the technology gets to where we can can do a "Goto" on a track page.

glad you found the gun.
One other way would be to arrow over to the area you want a point. Press enter, then put a waypoint. May work for you in the future.
