Fellow houndsmen and houndswomen, it would be great for all of us to get out there and do our part in drastically reducing the number of coyotes out there. The lions take a huge blame for coyotes damage they cause. We know the deer numbers are down do to coyotes and not lion, granted there are several other factors too. The DWR is offering a state wide bounty on coyotes which will reduce the deer fatalities and take pressure of the lions being wiped out.
Your compensated for every coyote you "harvest"

Re: Utah Predator Program
Greg,
You are exactly right. Everyone needs to do their part. This will not only prove to Utah that it's the coyotes and not the lions, but it'll also prove to other states that the lion isn't the bad guy. If your not actively doing your part, then don't bitch about the lion numbers. It's just as simple as that.
