FOX AND HOUND

Postby 1bludawg » Sun Dec 07, 2014 7:10 pm

Thought you might find this picture interesting ,of all the pictures i've taken this is the only one i've got that shows the game and dog in the same shot (in a tree anyway ).He ran for a solid hour before climbing .I had started to think it was a cat but as the picture shows,it wasn't.A beautiful day and good hunt this morning .

Very nice Robin!

We have had some nice weather for hunting on the West side the last few days. Keep up the good work!

The weather has been good to us.Last year at this time we were in a deep freeze. The guys that usually get a lot of snow haven't been so lucky as what snow they've gotten is already melting and that can make cat hunting even more difficult .

Nice picture Robin, never thought a blue could tree a grey alone. Sure you don/t have a running dog hiding someplace? Take care Al

Awesome photo. Was the dog solo? Which one is it? Rogue? You got me and Al re-thinking some things. Lol. Are you sure it's not an anteater? :)

He has treed them alone but his daughter was with him on this one .The hillside is pretty steep and he's on a tall stump so she didn't show in picture .David that tail does stand out.It was a male weighing 9 lbs and yes that is Ole Rogue .
