Cat Pics

Post by jbc67 »

Thought I'd share few pics of the fun we had this season (a few left on camera from last season too)--some of these were taken on cell phone and look a little rough--it's sometimes difficult to remember the good camera:

Some great pictures!!!
Plott, treeing walker, black and tan? Nice dogs.
Mind my asking what the one big cat scored/weighed? The one bleeding over the guys gloves.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. Hydro 1, that tom bleeding on Casey came in just under 170 on an empty stomach. The two pictures above that one, though, of the sway-backed tom in a tree, are an entirely different cat (a couple of the pics ended up out of order). You have a good eye, as I am pretty sure that sway-backed tom in the tree is by far the biggest ever caught over my dogs. I don't know what he weighs because he still roams around out there, and he didn't hold still for a skull measurement. But his track is the size of a small dinner plate. We caught him after the quota had closed and had to let him go. Old sway-back has a huge range (and scrape line) across relatively flat and extremely windy country. I am just hoping that he hangs around until next year and gives us another track.

Thanks Andy. If you happen to run into the fella I got him from, be sure and thank him for parting with that walker pup 4 years ago. :) He's been worth his weight in gold.
