Leopard cur crosses

I heard an old podcast where Mr. Floyd Green said he crossed leopard cur into his dirt dogs with great success. Has anyone else ever done this or know about these crosses.

 Have crossed leopard cur with my bobcat dogs some made good dogs. I prefer a full leopard I have had a couple of very good full leopard that were top cat dogs. that said if you are looking for a hard hustle dog they are not that but on some conditions they have caught cats when the hound could not and came back. they are colder nosed then iIexpected. In ruff scent conditions they hunt the cat moving the track or going out and finding the cat. they will not pound a track that they do not think they can catch. excellent locating tree dogs in our big timber country which I hunt out here having seen them be on the tree with the cat when the hounds maybe treeing near by with no cat. They will not replace the hounds for me but I sure like to have one in the pack. One of the best lion hunters that i know of have mixed cow dogs with there dry ground dogs. Dewey
