I've had enough.

Post by beaglewalkerhunter4 »

Is anyone one else sick of Obama's 'universial health care' plan? It just makes my blood boil, seeing that many other countries have fallen into the same trap, and for decades have been desperatley trying to crawl out of it. A simple example is canada, watch the canadian news and you will see their health care is goin down the crapper. He is trying to do the same thing with the health care as he did with the stimulous package, jam it down all our throats before, we, (or himself) gets a chance to read it. And now I think people are starting to say "wait a minute, that just isn't right." And to shut us up, we've got nuclear russain subs off our coast! and what's that jack ass going to do? well, he's going to suck up to them. I'll tell you one thing if Bush was in there, there wouldn't be any nuclear subs off our coast. this is just radical! some people my age ask me, Jon, why do you care so much about this, you cant vote for another 4 years? I said because, well, I'm going to pay for all of this.

His stimulous package is a joke, there is a 5.5 mile of very good paved road that go's from hwy 20 the town of Washington Ca. our fed government believes that it's a good place to spend 6.5 million of our federal tax dollars to replace a road that dose not need any work done, once it leaves town it turns into a gravel road that split into three diffrent directions and there are only about 100 people that will use this road.

Blame?? Blaming Obama? Cmon. This crap has been in the works for years. I dont think Obama represents my political beliefs. However our government has been displaying tendancies and making policies for the last decade or longer that have been taking our civial rights and liberties away. To blame Obama now is almost funny. Between the patriot act and the stimilus package that was put together by and endorsed by democrats and republicans. We have been giving our rights away and our money with the endorcement from both parties. Depending on whom was the president at the time. Habius corpus???? Who reading this knows what that means? Bush took that one away. Its a pretty basic, fundamental american right. Obama is working on the guns and socialized medicine. Blaming the goverenment is fine. But picking out Obama now! After all that has happened since 9/11. Thats what each party (democrats/republicians) want us to do is blame the other. Because every time your political party tells you its the others fault. We then are denying the faults of our own political party. Both republican and demorcat parties in the last decade have done detramental damage to our country. To place entire blame on one bad decision or group is to empower another bad decision or group.

bigboarstopper, I can't say enough how much I disagree with your opinion, although I do respect it. yes I do Indeed blame Obama, he is a liar, plain and simple. not to say that most polititians aren't, but c'mon? He said that every one wll have their own health care plan, On pg. 16 of his plan, it says, you can not.it wll be contolled by who else..the goverment. Let me remind you this is only in the first 6 months, and if we don't stop him, Poloski, and the rest of those radicals soon well, it will be to late. And we will be just like Germany, Canada ect. But hey it's change. BBstoper I suppose you decided to convieniently forget about the nuclear subsoff our coast. And here are some cold hard facts for to look at about Barry's health care plan. "1.The United States spends 4.3 Trillion on Heath care Annually

2. Obamacare stands to cost taxpayers close to 2 trillion in the next few years

3. That amounts to an extra $7,000 in taxes for every American.

4. We all know 20% of the population can't afford to shell that out and Obama says he won't increase taxes on anyone who makes under (What is it now?) $200,000.... That means that that burden will be left to 15% who make more than that. That amounts to almost double the taxes for many of us.

5. I don't know if I was you I would pick up and move to Canada... Oh Wait... Canada has a universal health care system...

6. For those of you who don't watch Canadian news let me enlighten you... THEIR HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IS A MESS.

So in the end what does it all amount to. Obamacare is going to tax everyone because he knows he can't put that kind of burden on so few people. (That's breaking a campaign promise, Strike 1) It wouldn't make the hospitals any easier to use. (Strike 2) And it is bringing about what Obama promised to diminish, big government (Strike 3 and your out Obama)."

And you ask why I blame Obama?????? well that's just silly, my friend. watch fox news tonight at 8, or if your on te east coast 9. have a good one.

i think you all need to reread BBstopper's post he said it isn't any one party or individuals fault, that both have pushed equally bad laws & government actions down our throats. anyone who doesn't recognize this is a fool who needs to take another look at their party of choice.

Thanks Pops. Somehow folks are thinking that I am supporting Obama in some way. I do not. I didnt vote for him, nor do I endorce his politics. I was simply saying that all these things that are taking place have been in motion for many years. Wether it has been the loss of freedoms, rights, or choices. Many presidents and both political parties are to blame. The modern trend in our political society is to blame all of our problems on the political party thats in power. Obama and the democrats are just the current face to point the finger at. I agree, his health care policy dosent make sence to me. I was simply pointing out that blaming Obama now is way too late. Many of these rights and freedoms have been slipping away for years. Some we have fought tooth and nail, some we have handed away with our endorcement and the endorcement of our political party we choose.

i dont blame obama, as much as i do the american people..for letting it happen
i will however, agree with you bigboarstopper that it has been in motion for many years...BUT..this administration WILL fast forward the process like you cant even imagine...so sure, republicans and democrats are both shady, unstrustworthy bastards.i i wouldnt trust a politician as far as i could throw him.

with that said, i'll sort of contradict myself and say not choosing between a political party, in my eyes, is a sort of cop out to not have to think about or deal with the problems..i guess an out of mind out of sight kind of way of looking at things and i dont know you on a personal level, but thats not the way i am...and thats why i dont 100% agree with what you said.

Sounds like were basically on the same page arizonabeagle. I seem to hold a higher standard to my own team (republican party) whom I think has failed us rather to blame the democrats. But back to socialized medicine. Why does it cost 2000 bucks to go to the emergency room? Because we're already paying for the people who cant afford health insurance. This trend of health premiums going up is a direct result of people who cant afford insurance and then not paying their bill. which in turn increases premium rates and creates more people who cant afford insurance and dont pay their bill. Pile onto that illegal aliens who dont pay and insurance fraud. Ive done my best to read about Obama's plan. Im completely lost. It dosent make sense to me. I will be the first to say that its an isssue too complex for me. It just seems to me that by doing nothing there will only be a small group of people in the future who will have access to a doctor.

I don't look at it so much as republican vs. democrat. I look at it as conservative vs. liberal. What we need is to rip them all out of there and rebuild with good ole boys. And yes, I know it will never happen; to many people with their heads planted between their cheeks.

If you ever do break down the "Messiah's" healthcare plan, you would be scared to death. The only thing that will stay the same is that illegals will still have free healthcare!!!

the system was set up with checks and balances and it seems the checks and balances are off and need to be restabilized. The worst part about this government is that these people are elected to SERVE the people but they serve themselves first with the awesome retirement plan that gives the 200k plus a year after getting elected once, then they vote them selves pay raises, come on let that issue be on the ballet if they want a raise.

Not according to the CBS evening news with Katie Currick. The scare tactic piece she did the other night flatly stated that due to the radical rise in the number of militia groups that have been started in the last two years, we are in jeopardy of a revolution. She also gave a website to turn in your fellow american if you hear anyone that constantly crys for a governmental reform. (Shades of Hitler or what?) The scare tactics were very real, and this could be they beginning of the end. It appears that there is far more to it than just the gun control freaks. Now the US government is behind it, and it appears that the Obama administration is backing this movement.

It's amazing how soon elected officials forget that they are supposed to represent the people. Unless it's election year good luck getting anything out of them. And Katie Currick has her head so far up OBAMA's cheeks, she'll never see the light of day.
