I have been ranting and raving about these Jeff Allen bred dogs and thought I would share some pics of the dogs I bought from Jeff. I told you all that over the next couple of years i was going to try and trade my pack out to these dogs. I don't think it is going to take me a couple of years.

A Jeff Allen female named Belle? That must be a misprint. Just Kidding, Seems like Jeff names every other female Belle.
Kind of confusing when you're hunting with him, he yells "Here Belle!", and seven dogs come runnin'.

These dogs continue to amaze me. crossed over to nevada the other day and got on a good lion hunt. it was a short race but realy good work for my allen bred dogs. The reason i was updateing this post is for my little utah dog. He is just comming four months old. I think this dog is going to be real special. I like him so much I traded my pup straight out of sampson for his litter mate sister. He is trailing drags and training material to great lengths and is showing some real staying power when it comes to treeing. I spoke with jeff allen today and he is considering putting his ace dog up for public stud. If he does I will put a thread out for it. I know ace is young and hasn't thrown to many litters just wondering if anyone else on here has one of his offspring and wondering how they were doing.

Did you get any more pictures of the pups that he has now? I'd like to see them. I heard Jeff will be heading this way in the next week or two.

I picked up one of these old strained hounds last summer from Jeff/James. He's about 2 or so.
He started striking from the box a couple weeks ago and he has one heck
of cold nose. Badarse little dog. Thanks James!

Tony, I traded my pup back to jeff for a litter mate to the one I have out here. Are you going to meet jeff down there? I will be going down there and it would be a good chance for us to meet up. Jeff has a deer hunt with his wife so I don't think he will be there until nov.1st.

Jimm, I am realy kicking myself for not keeping that blue dog when i had the chance. That dog of yours is a full brother to jeffs shorty dog witch he tells me is priceless to him. He said she is a real good dirt lion dog, but by far his best bear dog. fearless and thats exactly how that blue dog was for me.

John, I hate when people tell a story with no pictures but I didn't take any the other day. things have realy cooled off in this part of the country so we will get real buisy. I will be sure to take the camara and get some pics posted from here on out. Good luck to everyone. James G Moore

Devin, thanks. Jeff is running some pritty good bear dogs now and I think they are getting after them pritty good. Heck of a change from those cold lion trails. I think we all know where his heart is though. Speaking of Jeff and bear hunting I think he under the same impresion that alot of us are that you can run cold lion trails and hot bear trails with the same dogs.
