My wife's first bear

We had a great weekend this past weekend. The wife killed her first bear. Let me tell ya she earned it! Treed one first thing that morning on a mules face! We did more sliding on our butts than anything! Got to the tree and it was way to small to shoot so we left it. Got all the dogs off and led them out i'd say a couple of miles. We got regrouped and dropped again! Heard the jump and run up the road just in time to hear them set down. Started to them and got to looking bout 500 yards from the tree and we spotted it at the same time it spotted us! So we creeped tree to tree til we run out of big enough trees!the bear got nervous and she had to shoot! 40 yards right through the vitals! I was so proud! 15 dogs dropped on both trees and 15 dogs at both trees! To make it better the same man who took me to my first bear was right there talkin her through it just like he did me years ago! Now thats a great hunt.

Most of the dogs were puppies! I think 5 seasoned dogs! I'll post pic's just as soon as i can figure out how too! Aint to good on a computer! It was a great day for sure! It wasn't a monster bear but it was a bear.
