Hello all! Just wanted to do a little intro on me for all who haven't met or spoken to me. My name is karleen and I own 3 hounds a huge walker named Baxter, a PR red gretchen, and one of their pups dena.
I am learning to hunt with my pups so if their is anyone in the area who wants to gettogether let me know.
I have 2 horses and bow hunt! Love the compound bows! When I am not outside I am a mechanic for Subaru. Hope to talk with yall.

Hi Karleen, I 'am on the other side of the hill. How and where do
plan on starting your dogs? On what kind of game?
I'm trying to learn and teach my dogs to follow bear and lion scent.
I figure by the time I luck out and draw a cougar hound hunting
permit they should be trained and have there 3=4 litter on the
ground,Wink. I have a 1yr old bluetick and a KBD for now, maybe later
another very good Bluetick

Well I am just learning\ starting out on hunting with the dogs. As for bow hunting this is my 3rd year.

My walker was bred to hunt bear & cats. He was started when he was younger.I forget the guys name who bred him but he hunts for the state.
As for my red she was bred for cats and coons. Then we have one of their pups.
As to where we have taken them we have gone to ellensberg and around local trails. We have only done drag runs and just tracking we haven't done any "hunting" yet. I want to go with people who know more then me when I do.
