Dads Dog Boy

Post by Jim Johnson »

I read alot of your post and have seen pictures of your hounds and nice looking hounds they are I was just curious what is the breading on those hounds. You know some guys down here where I live at Poon, Lump, and ect. I hunt not far from these guys. Just curious about the bread of your dogs. Jim Johnson

Mr. Johnson,
He hunts a strain of hounds he and his dad have been breeding for many generations. They have been linebreeding from the Mark S. dog of hinkle schillings for a long time. I think the other dog they like to keep in the background is the Pine Ridge Fred dog. (i think) He has pm'd me some of the breeding charts on some of the hounds, and didnt recognize much as it is their own personal breeding. I know they liked the gangster jake c. line of dogs as it crossed the MarkS/PineRidgeFred lines. Im sure he can answer you better, but thats what I have gotten from our discussions. I think the last litter they raised had over 100+ crosses of Mark S. in their extended pedigree.
