To say that abortion is as simple as conservative vrs liberal ideology is a very shallow view of the issue.

I disagree.. Abortion has been a legal constitutional right for 50 years and it still drives elections. Right wing radio was talking about them abortion clips for who knows how many weeks getting people worked up.

This is what people out side of the box see.

IT’S JUST SOME GIRL IN PARAGUAY. NOT SOMEONE I HAVE TO LOOK IN THE EYE OR THINK ABOUT EVER AGAIN

GOP presidential candidate and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said that he supports the decision to deny an abortion to a 10-year-old rape victim in Paraguay.
“I wouldn’t pretend it’s anything other than a terrible tragedy, But let’s not compound the tragedy by taking yet another life,” he said in an interview with Dana Bash
on CNN’s State of the Union Sunday. The victim, an unidentified girl in Paraguay, was raped by her stepfather in a case that has attracted attention worldwide. Laws in
the South American country prevented the girl from receiving an abortion. Huckabee acknowledged that many people, including some in his own party, find this position
outside the mainstream and said he respects that position but feels he needs to remain consistent. “If life matters, and if that’s a person, then every life matters,”
he said.

Carly Fiorina ‘Ambushes’ Preschoolers, Uses Them in Anti-Abortion Campaign The alleged ambush occurred when Fiorina hosted a “right to life” forum at the Greater Des Moines botanical garden. Entering the rally, before a crowd of about 60 people, she directed around 15 young children towards a makeshift stage.

The problem, one parent said, was that the children’s parents had not given Fiorina permission to have their children sit with her – in front of a huge banner bearing the image of an unborn foetus – while she talked about harvesting organs from aborted babies.

Conservatives cant clam to be pro gun because Mitt Romney pioneered the assault gun ban.

Conservatives cant clam to be anti health care because here again the conservative candidate in the last election Mitt Romney pioneered a similar Obama care plan in Massachusetts.

Smaller government? What does that even mean? Aren't elected officials the government? Do you want fewer elected officials?

Less regulation? less regulation on what? Less regulation on small business to grow the economy. The central bank controls interest rates, that is what controls the economy. Walstreet.

These are all great talking point until you pin someone down, then the answer is always I don't know.

That's not likely to get any where. If a ten year old rape victim was the norm would we have to Paraguay to find a example?. Not all govt. Is elected in fact the minority of people holding govt jobs are elected the vast minority. Less regulation? Have you opened a small business? If you don't look at all sides of a issue on your own no one can make you see it from another angle.
People look at things from their own perspective however that was developed.
The greatest ability in humanity is empathy or the true ability to honestly try seeing a issue from multiple points of view. The truth being however most people never even try much less gain any proficiency at it.
For example do you think a 13 year old boy from the Sudan would see things the same or come to similar solutions as a 60 year old female from Toronto? Which one is correct?
If twins raised in as close to identical life experiences as possible still come to different conclusions how can you be certain your correct in your conclusions?
If you feel comfortable with dividing people into conservative and liberal camps and believing there is no grey area among the groups and each individual subscribes absolutely with all others how do you explain your proclaimed affinity for hunting and a staunch self proclaimed conservative's affinity for hunting? Or a liberal who is absolutely anti hunting. Over simplification of human variation or completely flawed guidelines are the only answer.
If you simplify things it makes more "sense" and is easier to align with emotional responses. But is it correct? Well that might take time, personal exploration and growth and a good deal of thought to ever get to.
The interesting thing about many of the worlds greatest thinkers as described as such by society is they very seldom saw anything in black and white . very often citing more variables to a situation then giving a simple direct stance. Is it not possible to view things in a variety of ways?

So far as govt involvement in everyone's life. I see things like this you can do good for someone with out control of them much easier then you can do harm. Because they have more freedom to avoid any harm you might do. Yet if you have control of this person it in turn becomes much easier to cause harm even inadvertently. And that is my simplification of things. And as such I recognize there's truths fallacies and inaccuracies in it.
