After my debut in judging chili contests, evidently the overdose of spices caused me to have a crazy dream last nite.
In this dream i was down for another cat hunt with JC and Warner. We had just got dogs loaded and about to head for the hills when JC got a phone call. A buddy of his had just seen two coyotes on the golf course. JC got all excited and made a call to another buddy that was a crop duster by trade. Well he was able to borrow the plane and the 3 of us jumped in and took off with Warner in control of the shotgun and JC in control of the plane and me being the spotter.
When we approached the course i spotted the coyotes and JC put the plane into a dive. It just so happened that there were some power lines between us and the coyotes and JC for whatever reason figured he needed to go under them with the plane upside down so Warner would have a better shot at the yotes. We made it under the lines ok and were right on the yotes when Warner went to shooting , he was yelling " i got em both" as JC swung around and put the plane right side up to look at em. When we got back to them Warner had shot two geese that were next to the yotes and they were hauln ass to the brush. We headed back to the airport and landed just in time for the federal wildlife service to arrest us for shooting geese from a plane .
I dont know who was the craziest, the 3 of us or the feds for messn with 3 crazys. I do know that i am never eatn chili again!

This just goes to show that it does not matter whether you are a eastern Yankee or a western Yankee, you just can't hang with the big dogs when eating chile!!!JMHO
Just for everyone's info, Mark was in Texas to audition for his part in Pulp Fiction 18 when he got roped into the chile judge gig! As the mature adult in the crowd, i tried to warn him, but he is like a hard headed cat dog!! Just would not listen!! I tried to warn him he would have night mares!!!

I mentioned that exact scenario to JC last night being the nice guy that i am, but he informed me the tracks you two left in that canyon reminded him of two of his best cat races stacked on top of each other. He said that he is just gunna hire a dog boy for you guys.

I wrote a post a few years ago about a dog falling out of a tree and a pitbull barking at my dogs. It was the same canyon. Im still laughing at my dads text from the other night. Lost my light hekp. Lol thats how help was spelled. When i got there he looked like he just climbed out of a washing machine. Handed me the garmin and said i dont know where your dogs are. Priceless. Im sure i will never bring this up when were hunting. Lmao. Hey dad where's the dogs. Ps.old dog just stay at the pickup next time. U notice nobdy was looking for u. Lol.

jc,,,,olddog here. stay in the truck you say? next time the dogs go over on that side, i doubt that i will even roll the window down to hear the race. as far as nobody looking for me? i learned alot of years ago to look after my self around here and thats exactly what i was doing when you're dad was yelling something about me bringing the truck up the hill. in case any of you young bucks think us old guys are weak and feeble just come on by and we can show you the direction. by the way,if you happen to find my shocker that would be nice and if you find brads lite, pitch it farther down the hill for getting me into that nasty piece of ground.
