Re: Lion Hunting

I know what you mean dawg, cause we started one awhile back that was blown and snowed in and probably two days old after debating whether it was a tom or bitch. I sent three dogs to pound out the track and held the other three. Now I realize that was probably a waist of track because a guy could have shipped a dozen or more hounds and trained up the next generation I imagine.
Anyway back to the story. Those three hounds trailed over toward a narrow gap after four or five hours and we had cut the road and found nothing had crossed. The Guide was in one truck and me in the other when ol' Choco bumped that lion in the rocks just short of where we sat, and I had that lion run across the road in front of my parked truck. We did have to climb a hundred yards or so into the tree, but with a strong tail wind I could have pissed on the Guide's truck from that tree had I had a belly full of beer.........
But that weren't any young, hot ladies came driving up to our door, guess that's only a thing you guys find out near the city........
