i run 3 all of them can start there own track well one is getting into it now but pretty much i can turn any one loose and they can start it then when they have it movin pretty good i dump one more then another. this is on cats, i have ran up to 6 dogs but that was to much for not having a finished dog, if i run with my buddy then we have 6 all togeather and have done pretty well. but alone i like 3 dogs if i run coon then its one or two

Im runnin one hound on cougar and everything smaller. If you run one hound you better hope he can start his own track. Ive got the reverse problem he hunts everything like huntin fool...
I will say its easier to take game away 'not to hunt' than to train them to hunt. Its a happy problem until he gets his ass kicked by casing a 250 pound black bear

So far it looks pretty even for the most part. Guess it comes down to what your hunting.
