Mabye its just my experience but I have never had a parasite problem with feeding my dogs any hog meat. Only parasites I have ever had an issue with is tape worms but that seems occur when I have had numerous dogs an a lot of fleas. Last time the dogs were wormy was a few years ago. I also have had the dogs get wormy when I go out of town and the dogs stay at somone elses house for a period of time. Otherwise I feed my dogs raw hog meat whenever I kill a hog. As for chicken, I know a people who seem to think raw chicken is good for when a dog falls ill, laid up from an injury or is about to go on a maraton hunt. Ive seen negative results from this practice from dogs becoming ill from this. I personally dont do it.

we have always feed raw meat when we have it, of anything we kill with the dogs or otherwise. guts bones and everything else we dont eat of the animal. I use the same worm method as coadycurbow and have never had a problem.

We have tried to feed our dogs bear when we get them but they never touch it, it don't matter if it's cooked or raw they won't eat it. I didn't think that there was a dog out there that wouldn't like meat but none of ours will eat anything from the bears we get.
