Billy treed this female today. She was collared in South Dakota three years ago.

That is awesome! Yesterday Daisy got to her first Lion tree...we were on a different trail looking for tracks, so she didn't get on the initial track...once we got there, I showed her the track and she definitely wanted to run it, but the other hounds already had it treed 600 yards away, so I took her on a lead to within 100 yards and turned her out on it. She ran and joined the tree. As soon as I got within about 30 yards, the lion jumped, so Daisy got in on that race and the second tree. At the second tree she didn't get tree close and she was nearly silent. She was pretty much circling and checking the tracks around the tree. She was definitely intimidated by the pack already on the tree and especially one fairly aggressive female that didn't want Daisy to have any part. We had a hunter along who had a tag for the region, so he took the lion just as she was about to jump a second time, but she jumped alive before the dogs got tied back, so Daisy and the rest took after her again. She didn't run far, and once the other dogs were tied up is when Daisy really started getting interested in the lion and I started getting excited for her.
So, definitely not running her own lion, but I think she is holding up her end, now it's on me to keep up my end and get her in the woods.
Kevin, I will be driving back to Great Falls tomorrow, and definitely giving you a call about getting her out with Billy. I think now that she has been exposed, she will do alot better with just one really good dog to learn from and won't be intimidated like with the pack of curs we ran with yesterday.

Billy treed me two lions today. First was a kitten. Pulled him off and sent him back up the hill, he disappeared and we found him treed about a mile away on the collared female we treed not too long ago. Still been a slow year but he's treed me three lions and two bobcats by himself so far. Already have a tom track for tomorrow. It was made this afternoon so it might start a little slow but he should catch it.I'll get some pics on here and video if I can figure out how to get it off my phone.

One male left. Pups are 6 1/2 weeks old. They're already raising hell with the cats at my buddy's place.

Hi Kevin,
Good to see the pups are all spoken for. I had Hank on 3 bobcats so far this winter. The first one , he wasn't to sure if he should run it since I shocked him on the deer the previous night. But he did get to sink his teeth in it. The second cat was a pop up, ran about 100 yards and treed, but he was treeing good. The last one ,after they jumed it only ran for about 20 minutes and caught it in a thicket. It was all over before I got in there, it weighed a little over 30 lbs.
I'll get some pics on here when I get a chance.

That's good to hear. Can't wait to see the pictures. Hank's parents love running cats. Thanks for the update.

Had a guy not show up to pick up his pup so it is back up for sale. Showed them a bobcat hide yesterday and they all tore into it. One male for sale, 8wks old and has first shots. Ready to go.
