Pack my hunting shovel, works as a tie out for two dogs , and a macheti. My 22 revolver. My light or two. And shocker. And a can of chew. Dog lead snapped on my shovel for a sling.

dog,light,22 rifle garmin,lead, extra batteries for garmin,cellphone,extra lead for draggin coon out so i dnt gotta carry it n everything fits in or on my jacket wear my gloves and thats it then i head er for the hills n go huntin

irrigation boots
Garmin gps and transmitter and receiver shock collar around my neck
k-Bar knife
gator pac with water
my buddy
dog leash
tri tronic
tracker system cell phone
Mt lion hunting trips
back pack three gallons of water
food knife pliers
Copenhagen
cigarette lighter toilet paper to start fires etc
Garmin gps
leash
shock collar and general knowledge of the area , and before we go out we let some one know where we are at so if we have a problem they know where to look if we have problems

im gonna start carrying some water and jerky cause lately iv been on some walks..the walkie talkies i take when im hunting in steep hills so me and dad can split up to look for the dogs and the rope is mainly because i like rope i guess,the knife comes in handy for alot of things,and alot of stuff is just extras..its no a very heavy back pack and carrying it isnt much different than huntin without it..i just see it comes in handy alot,oh and i carry my cell phone,that way when im huntn alone i can call dad and tell him if iv got somethin cool i think he should see,like when i put a huge boar in a cave or when i got 3 in one tree the night he said he didnt want to go
The only thing that i bring along that not a lot of people do is toilet paper reading what everyone else has with them but no tp their going to be in trouble

I carry pretty much the same standard gear. Since I started letting the dogs carry the beer I have not lost them once.

i say this cuz i hear alot of you guys packiing stuff in your pockits,i guy i no had a pockit full of 22mag bullits and forgot he put a couple if spair batteries in the same pockit and it ignited one of the rounds...saftey first

I travel light, a Browning Buckmark with a loaded clip and a LED LENSER flashlight. I am not going to get lost and not planning to go more than a mile from the truck. My dogs are trained to come when called. Sometimes it takes a little extra yelling to get them off a tree.
