Hey guys I appreciate your support but now you see what I deal with and would rather just drop it so the whole board does not have to be subject to more of there backwoods mentality, actually that is not far to the backwoods people of the world  Like he says he's Worldclass  .

I agree that if you post a pic like that it isn't gonna be secret and people are gonna ask questions. I assumed just like everyone else that it may have come from the ovando area. If you don't want people commenting on your pics, don't post em.

I don't think that Spanky and Larry were saying you TREED it in the Avon/Ovando study area. Instead I think they were thinking it CAME from that area. That is the neat part of those study areas, to see where those cats actually go and how far. When I saw someone ask the question about where that cat came from, I thought of the same study as Spanky and Larry did.

Okay, it was a simple misunderstanding then. I wouldn't really know what study it came from. It would be interesting to know though.

It doesn't look to me like that cat was ear tagged???

I talked to a fella a week or so back, and he claimed some friends of his had caught a female over on the front that was collared and ear tagged. My first assumption was the cat probably wondered over the divide from Ovando. I could be wrong.

My understanding was that the lions collared on the Garnet study were ear tagged. Of course when it comes to handling, not everything always goes as planned, so it's possible the ear tag was missed when the collar was put on the cat. Who knows??? Either way, I might question the fact that kitty come from Ovando.

There are cats collered east of the Little Belts that are not ear tagged, but thats not one of them.

So yes, it might be interesting to know where that cat is from.
