Good and bad in both . At the end of the day you are the one feeding your dogs. are you happy with what your runnin??? cause thats all that matters

best hound i ever had was a GRADE dog that mut would out hunt any registered hound he ran with he was 1/4 walker 1/4 shepard and 1/2 black and tanand the ugliest dog in the county but boy did we kill alot of coon over him.I wish i had 4 more just like him.Now i runn all registered hounds and none of them are near as good as my mutt was.not saying all mutts are good far from it but if you are not gonna comp. hunt and just pleasure hunt try a grade dog there usually free or darn near free so why not give it a shot
