very sorry for them hounds and yourself if i were you guys i would find a dozen of the best yote hounds around and turn the tables on them a few weeks of hound man and gun they will learn quick to scatter when they here hounds if they knowe the led will fly granted you may lose a few hounds at first but get a ton of guys and keep a few hundred yards from the dogs at all times soon they will learn fear again kinda like when the new kid kicked the school bullys ass he dont forget

It doesn't get any more real than getting the season open to trap. Check out the IDFG website for dates on Wolf trapping Classes. U must go to this class to be able to trap wolves in Idaho legally. A Trap SET is out there hunting while u sleep, just like they are!

Is anyone here willing to help a NE washington hound hunter find a wolf or two? I would love to come help you guys out, but don't know too much about that country or the wolves there...

I will be attending one of those trapping classes...

I was told today at a local sporting goods store that the Schilling family has lost a total of 10 hounds to wolves. 10 good dogs. One family. In just a few years. Now the other western states have them, and they are also a big problem in the North. This is total, pure, un-distilled stupidity. Surely somebody out there knows a congressman who has some common sense to put this on the front burner to correct this catastrophic mistake.... it won't get fixed if sportsmen don't get involved. Hey stud for a comment like that i hope you run into a houndsmen that has just lost his dogs to some wolves and you tell that to his face (if your not so damn chicken shit) and i garuntee you that those dogs wont be the only dead thing left on that mountian. I just talked to Shane this morning. He still has an aching heart and probably always will...those were some fine dogs. If the guy from New York would care to come out here to Idaho and make some more cruel statements about any of us who are trying to do something about this situation, many of us would like to "talk" to you in person.
