i think being honest and actually making a profit off of selling good hounds and culling what needs it. with todays economy is a damn hard thing to accomplish.if you figure up the overhead of doing it plus your time it usually equals a loss.the time of year and game laws usually will dictate what a hound is going to sell for as well. in season they sell way better .what game they run and how well they do it.there are other variables as well age, popular proven bloodline etc....etc...
