Thats a great buy for bobcat sized livetraps. The ones we bought last yr were $160 each by the time we paid for them and postage. Is it illegal to use legholds there? I really like the idea of using live traps you can turn loose the females and smaller cats. But theft would really suck at over $100 per trap and a 4-$500 cat. dgarrett

yes, cage traps only. for everything. Cats to me are the easiest oce you figure it out, well I take that back, mink are actually the easiest with cages, the hunt holes and crevices so the go right in em.
The price for the cage is lower than the commercial built ones and ten times better cage. i don't make money off them, between the material cost and time I basically break even, I make my fur on the high dollar cats instead
I recieved several PM's on the cages, so I will get to building in early July. My trapping season doesn't start until Novemeber so I have plenty time to get my own personal traps built. I plan on running a line of 150 this next winter for 45 days, going to try and have my best season with the prices that came this year for western cats.
Being a painting contractor and the sun finally peaking through, I am a bit busy with work but should be caught up in a month where I can spend time in the fur shed welding.
