Hey, can't you boys run off bait there in Idaho? Or are you draggin roads and riggin?

yes in most units you can run off bait. But i dont, if theres enough time to run bait theres enough time to get in a quick hunt. So all I do is rig, never even seen anyone drag roads in this country.

Same, a bait takes to much time. Rig roads and run off cuting tracks is about all the type of bear hunting I do. Did make it down to utah this year and run around ware I was raised and had a lot of fun and some luck tell it snowed on us!!

Huh, I heard those baits are hard to beat. I've talked with a lot of guys that have several to check and they bait and hunt as they go. They say there dang near garunteed a hot chase. Is that not all that true?

Your right Tureblue it is illegal where we're running right now. Baits it seems are great tell word gets around that you have a bait at a location then it seems like it's gitting hit hard and not by BEARS!!

Boy aint that the truth, nothin like runnin bait three days out of the week and when you show up to try it saturday mornin it looks like the local chevron parking lot around it. I dont mind baits i just dont have the time for them.
