I did all of the software updates and now I'm just waiting for my next trip to the woods to test it out.
I am glad that Garmin is installing an aftermarket style long range antenna, and not only that, but included a 2nd one as well. It was always a pain to get in a brand new unit then have to replace that crappy factory antenna so you could get a signal beyond 400 yards.
I've been told the 50s have better range, so we'll so find out.
My only question is on the dog barking alert. It's not mentioned in any of the paperwork that came in the box? I am running a 320, so I'm confused on how it will work?

If those antennas are pink in color i wouldnt be to proud of them yet. Dogs have broke 6 or 8 of them so far.

Put the new DC50 to work today. It seemed ok, didn't notice a big difference with it versus my other collars as far as range goes. The bark sensor is not reliable at all. At one point, Jack was standing about 50 feet from me and not doing anything but breathing and suddenly the bark alert goes off telling me jack is barking 20 barks a minute?
