LOL!
this one was in about 1974 or 75-
not in a Tree But..I had a Sebastian bred male I called Timber.
he was pretty straight..
he ran a track about 3/8 of a mile and treed in a hole at the top of a bluff. Coon hides were a pretty good price then.
I seen the coon tail just a little farther than my arm would reach, so I went down to the old abandoned fence line for a barb wire to twist it out, about 1/2 way back ol Timber came past me with his tail tucked between his legs--- I thought what is going on---(not in those exact words either!)
well I got to the hole and what a smell.. nothing was in sight but there were dang sure 2 varmits in that hole--- :o
by the way this was on ground we own!

treed a coon and there was a porky pine up there too. The dogs probably treed the porky. lol. I also treed a bear and let it out to rerun it and two dogs split off and caught a lion on a big bluff. turned out on a lion in feb and it jumped up on a big bluff and there was a bear den at the base of that bluff . you can guess how supprized i was when i seen a bear pop its head out of that hole lol.

Heard a story once where a guy thought he treed two bobcats. Shot them both out. One was an owl. Oops!

Dropped two dogs on a Bober track and dogs bayed it in a stump pile cat tracks right up to the pile in a field and nothing leaving it. After chaining dogs back and digging in for about a hr I found fur and stuck the .22 in when the hissing quit I reached in and pulled out a huge coon. Never did find that damn cat lol.

Well I didn't have two up one tree but three. Shortly before I moved away from California I was coon hunting one night after work and the dogs treed. When I got to this giant oak tree on one of the lower limbs there was a possum and a house cat. I got to looking around more and shined the light and saw more eyes way up towards the top of the tree and it was a coon!
