Id r ather have a drag out race for 2 or 3 hours an tree it then the dogs blowing by the tree to go run another .don't sound fun. Different kind of hunting I guess . An u said a bluetick lol. Is wanna see One come out hear wear we live an run with my pack on a fox. Won't have a chance

Yes we cast at night but some races still going on at daylight and after.

Greyfoxterminater I never said I had bluticks. I have American foxhounds (running walkers)

Interesting stuff Jkohnke. I started hunting with a guy that lived in Missouri until his thirties and used to have fox dogs and coon dogs. He used to tell me about running red fox and its exactly like you described. A big fire and lots of dogs coming in and out of hearing and everyone wanting the fastest dog. Sometimes run all night with dogs dropping in and out from neighbors places. What a race that must be! Maybe someday I'll get to listen to one.
I run a lot of grey fox out here and they rarely go in holes, mostly tree or get caught, almost always during the day but would sure like to hear a southern fox race. Thanks for the info.

I didn't say u had blueticks .u referred to my post saying if u wanted to tree a fox u mise well get some blueticks
