Dangit jcathunter, I guess I am going to have to be more careful what I tell you. This is not the first time that I have said that I start training the pups at two weeks old. I start teaching them to eat out of a dish as soon as there eyes open to save on the mother having to feed them all by her self. At that time they will stand and try to come to me for food two weeks or shortly after. When they come toward me I just put hand under chin lift up and push down on butt and give a verbal sit. You will be surprised at how quick a bunch of puppies coming up to you will sit waiting for food. You will also start seeing the difference in personalities. You can get just as much ouy of a dog as you are willing to put in. As far as a perfect bobcat dog that is what I TRY TO BREED. IT CAN'T BE DONE hopefully just better each generation. Sometimes it works sometimes it does not. Just because A dog is a great dog in someone eyes does not mean it will be in another eyes. I breed dogs that I like and that catch bobcats for me that does mean they will work for everybody, can you believe it some people even hunt blueticks on bobcats and even catch a few.
