White Hollow is Gene Whites kennel name. We are talking about Evert Weems bred dogs having Cascade breeding.

I was just being nice and posting something that i thought it could help. I am currenty working and researching my dogs pedigree. As soon as i get it finished i will see what i can find out what dogs are related or no.

Also as far as White Hollow i know that is a kennel name, my kennel name is IronMountain.

I was just trying to help, as i have been researching dogs to make a bigger pedigree for my dog and some dogs i cannot find parentage of and its hard. Just trying to help.

I am looking for the sire and dam, and the great sire and great dam of Weems Plott Janie. The other dogs i am looking for, but i havent really looked for them yet.

Nothin in my yard thats heavely weems bred goes back to Cascade, but when I was at Gene Whites house thia last year, we were lookin through all of the ped's he has and there are some weems bred dogs that go back to a Cascade dog, I dont know whitch ones I will have to get what I saw from Gene. The Plott's I have are mostly White Hollow bred and they do go back to Cascade bred dogs. This is just a question because it's one of the last on a 7 Gen ped on one of my dogs, but how is that "PR" weem's cascade smokey bred?

Ok, i will see and thanks for the info. That completes some of my top back 10 gen on one dog of the 4th gen.

Thanks Catch, thats as far as the ped I have on that dog went. But wouldn't that make any weems bred dog, bred to that Cascade bred dog, come from Cacade lines? I dont no what dogs they were, I'm gonna call Gene tonight and see if he can tell me. But I'm sure there was some horse tradein done, dont you. I'm waitin on the papers for my Timber dog, He's pretty heavley Cascade bred, in his fith through the seventh generations

I have never seen on any papers where Mr. Weems every kept any dogs out of Weems Cascade Smokey, incorporated any of the Cascade bloodlines into his dogs, or if he ever bred the Smokey dog when he apparently owned him. Weems Cascade Smokey's claim to fame, in my opinion, was being the the sire of Roark's Tenn. Smokey. If any one knows of any dogs that go back to Weems Cascade Smokey except thru Roark's Tenn. Smokey, I would like to know. I have been looking for years and haven't come across any, but I am sure there are some.

Tom i agree 100% about there being no cascade in weems dogs.

as far as weems cascade smokey........he might have carried the weems name but he was not 'weems' bred

I sent an email to Joe Polly with questions about Weems Cascade Smokey. His step dad, Gene Elrod, was the last person to own the dog. I am sure he can enlighten me about any dogs that might go back to W. C. Smokey besides Roarks Smokey.

I'm 99% sure that Weems never bred the dog into his dogs.

Catch, your probly right, ya all have seen how good I am at readin Pedigree's LOL. Them big long pedigrees confuse the hell out of me, I have a hard time tellin witch dog made the other.
