Every coyote is different. None of them really run exactly the same. Sounds like you are doing alright. Keep after em and I bet you and them blue dogs will kill a couple dozen next winter if you try hard enough.

Oh ya and I edited this to say that you don't need any other kinda dogs to do it the way you are doing. Also you don't need no more than 2 dogs either. Plus I'll add that you don't need no help either. Just you and 2 dogs will make it a lot easier in the long run. No headaches, no trouble, just a nice peaceful coyote hunt.

We run coyotes here in big timber in northern Wisconsin. All coyotes are different and some circle no matter dog is on them. What I've seen my plott dog is slower then my walkers and barks steady start to finish and he will circle a coyote by himself for hours. Now at the same time if are walker dogs run one for 3-4-5 hours they start to " screw wm down" and spin donuts and bam bayed up. This year a lot of our runs were straight line run for life hunts. Never know what u will encounter
