last year took my kid out deer hunting where my dad always took me and showed him a cave that was about 15'x15'. when we got there some one had been living there. never did see him. makes me wonder though if he seen me. thought about going back and seeing if anythings different.

It's not reclusive but here in south ms there's a cult (lack of a better word) of people called the Harry christners that own a big chunk of land all around one of my honey holes, you can just about bet the dogs are going to get on their property, never had any bad dealings with them, they are nice people but are extreme animal lovers and it's kinda hard explaining to them you have a hog tied on their property or such, their a little on the strange side but I bet they believe the same about a guy riding around with a box full of dogs chasing wild hogs is to. They definately have a different outlook and way of life, almost hippyish I guess you could say, but have always been more than helpful when I'm trying to retrieve a dog and in return I show them the same type of respect.

Where we've elk hunted for a long time there used to be a 2 or 3 guys living in separate hand made shacks or remnants of old campers that looked like some freaky dudes. It was in the bottom driving out on a mountain road we never did stop and say hello. It's been a few years since they haven't been there anymore not sure what happened to them.

Saw a ufo one night, it hovered right over a bayhead where the hounds were running a cat. It went out of sight behind the bayhead and a little while later the dogs bayed up. While walking on a little dim road thru the gallberries Bennie thought about the ufo and went looking around for a lighterd knott but all he could find was a 6 1/2 oz Coke bottle. He said it looked like that ufo went down somewhere right around here, them dogs might have a dam alien bay up in there, if they do I'm going to wear his ass out with this. And then he waded off into the palmettos to whip an an aliens' ass with a 6 1/2 oz Coke bottle! But it turn out to be a bobcat.
Don't know what it was we saw in the sky, l ain't one of "those" people, but I thought it made a good story. After it was all over my hunting buddy says, Bennie ain't scared of nothing!!! He went in there to fight an alien with a 6 1/2 Coke bottle!!!

HaHa, my primary residence is pretty much where I sleep and is private without any nosy neighbors. Most people probably think I live like a hermit. I own 2 other houses that are much more modern but to public for me.
One of these days I will modernize my current dwelling with an indoor bathroom, then again why would I want to shit in the same building that I eat in.

(sorry for the lack of paragraphs and such, I'm on my phone)
My old redbone and I were out on a Sunday drive, just checking out a new area. Ended up running across a fella named C(anonymity reasons) a ways up in the mountains. He's like the gatekeeper, he's built all of these scrap wood shanties that span both sides of the 2 track, and his dozen or more huskies let him know you're coming long before you get there. So when I pull around the corner, there he is in the middle of the road. I talked with him for entirely too long, he seemed nice enough but was long overdue for a bath. Now there are a lot of stories floating around about him and I'm not much to gossip but one thing I know for sure. He is loaded to the GILLS with guns and ammo, more than one person has bought a pistol or two from him and has seen his armory. Just a word of advice, if you're ever in my neck of the woods and happen to run across him, hang out and shoot the breeze, I think he's pretty keen on whiskey if you've got any. As far as he's concerned though, that's his land so be respectful, I wouldn't want to go and piss him off way back up in there.
