Thanks for the help. I have been getting out 3-4 days a week until this week, that work thing. I know the daily hunting pays off.
I'll keep at it. I enjoy working dogs too much to not keep going. It's rewarding to watch a dog develop into something that myself or the dog didn't know it was capable of. Bare ground also makes for a longer day, especially as I'm a foot hunter.
If any of the bare ground hunters ever have a litter with a pup that they would be willing to part with, I can guarantee it will be taken care of and hunted.
A friend says" if your gonna be dumb, you better be tough!".
