I saw the song was getting hits and I wondered who in the world was watching it. I can't tell you how much it means to me that it is you guys. Thank you so much. Bless you.

PS it has gotten like 13 thumbs up, and that is beyond anything else I have done. Thank you.

So I had to look up ENCORE.

it's a problem. This you tube thing is an experiment. A couple friends are really pushing me on this. They say if nothing else it is a record for your great grand kids to look at if this thing survives. I wrote a lot of songs back in the nineties. Listening to them now there are only a few I can stand to listen to. Yet these guys I am talking about love them. So I am slowly putting them out there. For my great grand kids I guess. One of these guys actually comes by my house once or twice a week to sit me down and work on it. Lol. "I am not playing around". Haha.

But Bon Plott, I don't have a good encore for that song. That is where I walk off the stage, go sit in a dark corner with my head down and think about what I just said to everybody.

I dont have another song that still makes me feel that way.

This song needs to get up and walk on it's own out there. If it can't, well, I may be hard of hearing, but I am not deaf.
So If you think someone else would enjoy it, please share it with them.

But I have a group of videos done of songs. Also a group where I am teaching music theory about slide guitar, and two videos made for the little girl, Danni, (edit: "Dani", not "Danni")who is learning harmonica.

I think this link will take you to the playlist of about 16 songs of pegtop music. Some were put up by other people who liked our music. Most of my nature images come from hunting trips. But I think the only other song with hounds in it is "Daddy's old records". If anyone is a fan of Bill Monroe and his bluegrass boys, you might like that one.

Here is a nice short one if you just have a couple minutes to watch electric slide guitar.

David, I think Andre Crouch was about 14 yrs old when he wrote "The Blood",he wadded it up and threw it in the garbage and his sister pulled it out ,your song has the same Awsome message,it will walk on water where God blesses the hearts that can hear it. I texted it to a couple young friends I hunt with, one is the youth pastor of a church in town, told my 17 yr old daughter about it yesterday, she'll watch it,(might steal it for they're worship team) The only trouble with it ,there were no lynx pictures and I honestly think you should do something about that. Hope you can come get some pics some day.

Made me laugh. I hope to see a Lynx before I die. Did see a track once and even that felt exotic.

I actually made a video of Everything I Own just for people that might want to learn or use the song themselves. It has the words with guitar chords. I have never seen it used in worship and there might be a couple lines that people would be uncomfortable with. "Mommy, what is a demon of lust??" If they try it let me know how it goes. We did perform it in many churches without any negative feedback. Same for some festivals and bars. In fact, the bar crowd liked it at least as much as the church crowd, lol.

It only has one picture through the whole song. But I love the picture because it is where I spent the night in anticipation of rolling in to Perk's kennel in Virginia for a dog trade and a hunt. I am very close to Cecil Boggs place there in that picture. The sun was up and it was time to roll. So beautiful out there.

It is a live performance of the song.

(There also is a video teaching how I played the song in an altered tuning)

Thank you. It is sure nice of you to comment on it. I like that you used the word "work". Because it was. I spent thousands of hours practicing, writing, recording, performing back then. I am very blessed that today's technology allows me a way to document some of that work. If not for the encouragement I have received from people like you, it all would have slipped into oblivion. Thank you all.

Dang David that is a pretty good little tune. I did not know you played guitar. One of these days if were ever in the same neck of the woods will have to do some picking and grinning. I may or may not have recognized A dog or two in that video. Thanks for sharing

Thank you. Love to pick and grin. I hate that we all spend too little time doing it.
Yes, you are right, it is Carley up on the haystack with Sonny. The big pup with the coyote is Carley's Nephew
Willy. Willy is working hard and shines at times. Carley did not survive a snake bite. She was gifted. Kills me to think about that.

Thanks Jim. You are right about that. Those thorns give some bite to the phrase "crown of thorns". I don't know if the crown had Texas sized thorns. I hope not. But at any rate, I do not envy the King who wore the crown of thorns and gave everything for us.
