i only got on one coon in the day.and it was in the summer. i take my dgos out almost daily now since im not huntin as much for coons, and only get out after cats MAYBE once a week. in all my day time outings for three yrs ive only ran one coon in the day. that alone tells me that coons are what they are... NOCTURNAL

I only hunt in early moring start at sun up till noon and catch plenty of coons

That is not too cold of a temp to catch coons in...We catch them when it is in the low teens all the time. Makes for a fun night if you just dress warm. As Jeff Foiles said..."You can't kill them sitting on the couch!" Go hunting when you can go hunting. We caught this pig (48.5lbs...fattest coon I've ever seen) when it was single digits! Get out and HUNT!!!
