white cloud dogs stand up
white cloud originated from tri-colored,bluetick and redtickhounds called Galloway dogs.
this line of bluetick dogs came through Vaughn.Breeding a dog named Indiana Boone boy
which was tri-color. Gervis Mullin bred Boon to a Nance black and tan tri-colored,
narrow headed fox tree dog. Raymond Motley bred 3/4 fox hounds to Boon Boy to get
his line. This was basically the TRUE WHITE CLOUD dogs. 25-30 years ago many
crosses of Finley River Chief were crossed in and they still called them White Cloud
dog?. Old Finley River Chief's Father was 1/8th redbone,creating lots of red and tan
and saddle back pups. What do we have now when a person says they have White
Cloud dogs? Walker, Bluetick,Redbone,redtick and black and tan, that is a White Cloud
dogs Geneology. Check the History of Treeing Walker breed by Lester Nance. O yea
what about the airdale cross? Are you sure your dogs are pure White Cloud?

mike i think you need to read what you write before you post
i would like to know where the rennick dogs that you tried came from were they out of davis dogs or rennick , or were they barrick dogs
i'm sure that all these men would sure be interested in you telling them that there dogs were not p.r bred i can give you ped #s proving that they were p.r bred 30 years ago.
then when some one that is a hunter breeder has this same line of dogs and did not reg them for years. then some one comes along talks him into re-reg his dogs, [that he has line bred and hunted for that long.] then you come up and say that they are just grade dogs that have false papers, even though he can give you a run down on every dog in the lineage of all that breeding and can tell you which dog did what because he hunted what he bred [i don't blame them for becoming a little heated] just because the dogs were not reg for three gen does not mean they have lost there blood you need to know the people that have done this, instead of putting them into the mix with dog jockeys. all these top breeders that you talk about that you have caught shuffling papers what is there names these people are the ones that need to be raked.
the other thing mike that pup you recieved fom mich, out of the old bawlie line that you had the adacity to say that it was crossed with a collie. mike i know the man that bred them dogs and he is a man of integrity he has to much class to drop the hammer on you for your statement but i don't that was just wrong.
i am not a breeder im a hunter, i have some bawlie /nance bred dogs out of babcock breeding. and also some rennick bred dogs out of fall river dogs that i run, they all tree and have the nose, and the brains to use it.
its time to quit bad mouthing. and go hunting.

I want to start out by saying I try not to get to involved in the dirt slinging that goes on here but I cant stay out of this dirt fight Mike M. may say a lot things that you all disagree with but I have known Mike for the better part of 15 years and he is the reason I got back into hounds I have never seen a harder hunter more devoted to his line dogs and Mike is the type of guy that if he dose not like a trait in his dog then the dog dose not make it out of the woods he dose not make excuses for the dog he dose not give the problem to someone else by selling it bottom line that dogs the cull is culled right then and there so before you throw dirt at the man I invite all of you to hunt a mile in the mans shoes most of the dirt throwers out there are just that talkers not hunters thanks for that I enjoy the entertainment but thats all you are is entertainment for the readers
