An AR-15 with a 16 inch lightweight barrel and a collapsible stock sounds like what you are after. Multiple shot capability and is not a pistol.

thanks for all the response guy's, it's really appreciated. Those savage pistols sure are pricey, but they are pretty neat. Gonna take a look at the taurus line and see what i come up with. Much appreciated
