steve, how do you figure the break down of the percentages. is it just through thier back ground or can you actually do dna testing?

I sure wish their was some kind of DNA test Avb.

I only do it by the Papers which is a far piece from being the Actual content of each breed..

It would be very nice to have a base line Genetic Marker for each known breed and it would only have to be a Basic Generic Code ..

13 out of the 17 born .. We went thru a very bad Uterin Infection from the 2nd thru the 5 day .. We did do some supplmental feeding but we still lost 4 weaker pups..

You know a bit about what I look for in a hound and what challenges they'll be up against and you did one hell of a job on my first Majestic Only thing I care about is , that its something that could cross up good with Pacs. I've felt like I've been exploiting you since day one in our hounding buisness......, so I'll need to be starting something of my own.

just curious if you still have pups available out of the maggie x boo litter.

I have 2 or 3 of the High Tan / Black and Tans Left ....

All but 1 of the 50% Bloodhound X 50% English Coonhound have "Bluetick Feet"

is the damn of that litter a pure blood hound? just curious if she was how her hunting/treeing skills are and what blood lines she is out of...? i know how dificult it can be to find a good canidate. ( believe me i tried several to come up with one that had it all and he still has plenty of flaws)

The Dam with 13 Pups is a Pure Bloodhound bred to a Very Good English Bluetick.

The Dam with 10 Pups is a 50% Bloodhound X 50% Treeing Walker

At 7-8 weeks I should be able to tell alittle difference in the Pups as to What their made up of..

I walk my pups alot, the whole litter on trails thru the wood and fields here at the place.. Even at 6 weeks old you can see the pups that go to fallen logs and smell the whole leight for scent.. Very tough to guess !!lol
