My dads cousin was in santa rosa last week and over heard some guys talking about dogs. willy, my dads cousin asked them if they new the padgetts. one of the guys said yes, he had just bought a dog from them. willy said brad or jc. the guy said jc. So willy calls me with the guy standing there . tells me the story and the guys name. lauren Patterson I think is what he said. no I said not from me. so willy hands the phone to lauren. he says he did buy a dog from me a month and a half ago. nope I said. he says you live in bend Oregon right. nope not me. oh he says.
so was this guy making up the story or is someone saying they are me and selling dogs. interesting ,those shady tricksters.


the real jc padgett

That must be the same Lauren Patterson I ran into at the truck stop. Seen his dog box so was asking him about the dog. He said it was weird, he pays money to this guy in Bend Oregon Named JC Padgett, but he has to mail the $10,000 to a post office box in Myrtle something, OR, and then he has to pick up the dog at some Mark Armstrongs house up near Sweet Lebanon or something but only if the guy is not home. He seemed pretty confused but he said at least you were honest about the dog. It was a top cat dog, even if it was a male and he was expecting a female.

One thing for sure this whole thing has been a big mess, but for once it worked out for me. JC had every one confused. I came home the other day to find my girlfriends Basset missing and 10 grand in my mail box. I found a Basset on craigslist for free and everyone around here is happy!

The one and only JC padgent is the official logger of the year in Powers Oregon! JC put it on all the other competitors to win this prestigious title. Congratulations JC!!!!!!!!! Even though the word on the street from down there is that all the other contestants beverages had been laced with X- LAX , and all fell victims to wardrobe malfunctions.

I played the , im old and fat card. Before they realized what was going on I had won 2 of the first 3 events and 3rd in the other. I went on to win 1 more to seal my overall victory. My friend and employee ended up with 2 first and a second. somehow they figured we tied for first. They gave us both a 461 stihl . If u were to look at the 14 contestants and pick out who was the champ, I don't think u would have picked me. I think I was the only one without a 6 pack and in there 20 s. The funniest thing was the last event. it was a choker setting contest. when I was setting my choker someone in the croud yelled . Run like your chasing those hound dogs. lol

Congratulations JC, Not too many folks can say they have won a competition like that! Nice prize too!

Just recently I was talking with Shawn about how so often we have noticed the great bobcat hunters had been loggers. We have our theories as to why. JC is obviously on his way to that legendary stature.
