Once again Bow thanks for sharing all the pics and history I havent really said to much on this subject because I have been too busy enjoying the pictures and history here, you have alot to be proud of in your Grandfather, and I have to thank him for some of the blood in my hounds. Keep sharing what ever you have theres things that you have shared that people really thank you for and some others just wont thats just the competitive nature of houndsmen and thats why there is so many secrets in the hound world.

this one and the last 2 pretty clearly show Panther G was from FLORIDA BLUE and Smoke.
Florida Blue was the hound used so successfully by the Lee Brothers that was found wondering on a road between Hatch and Truth or Consequences,NM... linage unknown.
the next 2 posts will show some cuts off an old pedigree of Rex Moyles breeding Moyles Jake and Belle... Jake being out of Belle. they were never registered...

Rex Moyle got some of the Green stock when Green visited him... then Harshman registered the Ann of Fairlee and Fairlee Belle for him.. he put the G behind Panther G to indicate a Green hound which was one of the ones that Bill green got from the Lee Brothers.
the next post will show a letter from Bill Harshman that shows how those hounds were related as well as Scout.

this is a copy of the letter from Harshman to Mel Farber. it indicates the relationship of a lot of those hounds that have been discussed.

When I first visited Mr Farber he had a Stack of letters from Harshman. and a handful from Bill Green... at that time I was working at Mulvane KS just 12 miles from where Mel lived. i visited several times.. he was a far different person in the flesh than in a letter.---- those who received letters will verify what those letters were like.
Mel offered to let me read some of those letters but would not let me take them to read...
there was a wealth of old history there but when Mel passed on Mary would not even let Rudy Matson have it.

Oh--- on one of those clips it mentioned Page 30 of the 77 BBCHA Bluebook.
in a quote by Clell Lee,he stated that Florida Blue was Chop on tree and track.

As you can see by the handwritten notes, they do not match the original ped issued by the UKC that Bow posted.
Even the expert Harshman was mistaken. Or the UKC.
Also Border Raider would have been Florida Blue top and bottom?
Original ped shows Lee's Arizona Blue not FL Blue.
Also Harshman has Speck as Border Raiders littermate and again as his grandmother?
Looks like a state of confusion that stems from second had info.
Ya gotta think at least Bill Green knew the breeding?

Thanks for posting those old peds. Look at the old Sugar Creek, Lee, JV and Vaughn!
What dog is this ped from?
