Keep in mind, guns are like hounds, the same make and model may give entirely different performances,,I feel its not the kennel or breed that makes the best hound, nose, intelligence, endurance, and training and experience, two pups from same litter can be opposites. Im not a expert , but read similar in Buckshot and Hounds that named two old drivers and houndsmen called floyd buddy Williams and Hayward Seay,,,,,I just know guys that spent a fortune and time to get certain hounds,,that didnt turn out,,,,The old old Sugar Creek Lines are my favorite,,,,just trying to say got some good hounds from kennels that were not known,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
