it was a great race for thirty min or so but it made it to the rocks. my female got it off there but never got it jumped again. they were still trying to cold track but they were to far behind , it was probably are ready back to the rock when i got them off it. i bet that cat has been ran by every cat hunter in south coos co. . i have ran it three times this year. its only 2 miles from Albert Baldwins house so you know its had some good dogs on it.

im a catdog when i run a cat or over 5 hours in rocks, windfalls, and down roads and tree it.
thanks tim, hope she keeps improving and trees. ive second guessed myself on getting rid of her but i know she has a good home, and gets to run cats so if she is happy and you are happy then i am happy.
im a cat dog and once a year i grab a skunk.

i dont know why but for some reason most of the cat dogs i have owned like to grab a skunk every now and then.

At feeding time, I get fed 1st. Yep I'm the cat dog.
I'm a cat dog when other cat hunter's know me by name.
I'm a cat dog when my hunter thinks he should probably shock me, but he dosent.
I'm a cat dog when making a lose is rare.
Hunter thinks he should put some kind of brand on me to prove his ownership.
During kill season I get hunted away from my home turf.
Hunter alway's seems to be cooking something tasty for me on the stove.
I can damn near live off of what I catch.
This was an oldie but a goodie, I couldnt resist. John.

Ya, i no what you're sayn Jon. But a real cat man is humble enough to get past the jealousy that seems so common in this sport. I would of only had a dog or two in my life if i culled every time someone else thought i should lmao. They just have to suit me in the long run.

I am a cat dog if a cat hunter owns me and not a person that hunts cats. Dewey

A good balanced cat dog can teach a green horn houndsmen a bunch about cathunting & does not need a real cat hunter to catch cats. I know this because I got lucky, Bought a balanced cat dog that taught me a bunch when I was young. Yes it sure would have helped that balanced hound to catch more if I had been a master cat hunter. Few hunters ever become master cat hunters my self included. Was also lucky to have two veteran houndsmen to learn from. But nothing takes the place of experience in the woods. Just my experience. Thanks Al
