Dan, thank you for your reply. We train our Leopards pups with bobcat scent. We have a big ten acre tree nursery so we do a lot of scent drags and run the dogs on it.
We have not always had Leopards. We just started using Leopards three years ago. We had blueticks and walkers in the past. Our Leopards have done so much better on bobcats for us. We found them to be smarter, easier to train, and always come home with them at the end of the day. :D
thanks, ~Noah

OK, now you are scaring me kid. Folks, you just watched this thread go from an innocent young mountain boy who's cute little doggys got lucky on a few pop-ups, To a heavy hitting hard ball player who might be associated with the mafia. He trees each cat one year in advance and gives them fair warning about what will happen to them if he finds them on his turf again. I can just hear him, as he snaps that picture: "consider yourself kissed on both cheeks. I hear Mexico is nice this time of year, if you know what I mean..."

Those puppys running around Noahs place have at least four of the most recently famous and talked about and feared crosses, and one of the soon to be most famous and talked about and feared crosses in Leopard history. The lifes work of Ron Ganus, John Clark and Rex Laker all eating dogfood at Noah Riley's place. There is a reason why Noahs descriptions sound like Cammy's cats might have climbed quickly: They had no other intellegent choice.

We are on to you now, Noah. I am glad you do not know my real name or where I live.

Folks, be afraid. Be very afraid.

Seriously Noah, you must be very proud of your father. If you are not you should be. He did his research and he knows what he is doing. And most of all, he obviously cares very much for you and is investing himself into your life. You are blessed and you have passed on the blessing to us. It is great to see.

Thanks for posting your stories and pictures. It seems like your guy's dogs are really doing what you guys were looking for when you went to the leopards. I hope that when my boys get bigger that they will enjoy with me the experiences that you are getting to share with your dad and dogs. Thank that dad of yours for learning cat hunting the hard way and allowing you to learn along with him. That is what this is all about, learning and the relationships that are developed in the woods. great job. Tell that dad of yours howdy for me!

Great!! pics and awsome story behind them Noah, I missed that "Monster Tom" story some how, been busy, time to do some catching up,
I have never seen leopards before and really like the looks of them and have been reading up on them, I like their desposition also, I hope to find
someone in the N.E that raises them and uses them on cats, maybe if I am lucky they will have a pup or two forsale from time to time.

I really enjoyed your hunt w/Dad & dogs, thankyou for sharing it with me.

Jeff
