positive... sat there several days in deer season and watched them little buggers have at it... they ate about as much as the coon... they will leave the hulls. would not think they would dip into the nasty stinking water but they do. a fellow I know in Virginia has seen them too.
sowered corn mash / squreels partake of it too ?

I knowd only coon a pig partook of sowered swollen up corn fermented in a containner with the lidd on it till it got over poweren steanky ! I just learned something new by thunder ! We left it out too help feed coon through the winter when onlyest thing left too feed coon in the wild in Tn. was hack berrys ! I know all critters eats hack barrys ad if nothen elese is left a squeerrl will eat moss and tree bark/ see gray squrrells do that along the Sacramento River in flood stage river warer stuck up in the tree line in the very tops of the oak trees and was there for days and days/ water too fast runnen too make a swim for it too the river levy banks !
