Any chance of getting a couple of pups from the mating of Rocky and one of yor smaller females? I am planning to breed Daisy back to Flint and try once again to get you a male. I sure like what I am seeing from Daisy's last litter as well. These pups are gritty, very good confirmation and seem to have a strong desire to tree. They are 10 months old and at a time when they should be making progress with every outing.
I sure like the photo of the all blue pup that you posted. He looks like a little "Tank". He may end up a little larger than what I like down here in the heat.
Adios,
Gary

And here are a couple of pups from the two of them

Dennis kept two out of this litter, I have had the pleasure of hunting with Dennis and he has taught me a great deal of things, even when he doesn't realize it. His hounds have taught me that I do not need to be an expert dog trainer, I just need to take them hunting. The knowledge and care that Mr. upson has taken to his breeding will show in his hounds, they just plainly know, what to do!

I am breeding Daisy back to Flint tomorrow. Flint is crippled and sore from last week's hunt in the desert canyons but I bet he forgets about that we he sees her. I will save you a male if I can raise one.
Adios,
Gary

Gents
Hugh Childress hauled Flint to me from the Pecos River Canyons this morning. It did not take long and we had her bred. I appreciate the interest in this mating and will keep you posted on what might be available. I want to take care of my buddies before I tell you that any are for sale.
I will say that Flint is by Clear River Diamond Jim and my Betty female who was by Roberson's Blue Boy and my Mamie female. Blue boy was purchased from Dennis Upson and was by Blue Boy II and Blaze. Mamie was a heck of a great hound and was by my Ranger dog and Old Fly. Ranger was a son of Smokey River Cheif and Wolfenbarger's Speck. Mamie Fly was bred by Dartez Brumley and was Vaughn breeding.
Daisy was by Kenny Jones' Spur dog and Virck's Blue Smokey, a third generation all dual grand mating. This is the third time for this cross which has produced the best hounds I have ever followed. I hope the magic continues.
Adios,
Gary
